Horse Riding & Pony Trekking

Riding in this area offers many miles of traffic free forestry and hill tracks with breathtaking views of lochs and mountains – another great way of discovering the beauty of Argyll.

Lunga Riding Stables offer 1-4 hour treks along forest tracks or by the shore. Livery is available for those who wish to bring their horse or pony on holiday with them.
 
Closer to home – a mere three miles along Loch Sween – is Daltote Farm where pony trekking, cross-country and instruction for all ages and abilities is available.  Treks take you up into the hills giving spectacular views over Loch Sween and beyond to the island of Dana, the Paps of Jura and more.
