The Stables B&B is situated in the small village of Achnamara, in Knapdale Forest, near Lochgilphead, beside Loch Sween on the beautiful west coast of Scotland. The nearest town is Lochgilphead which is on the main A83 from Glasgow to Campbeltown.

By Car

From Glasgow: M8 (W) towards Greenock. At jct 30 join M898 (N) and cross the Erskine Bridge. Take A82 (N) towards Crianlarich. At Tarbet join A83 (W) towards Campbeltown. After Lochgilphead turn right at the Corran roundabout (N) on to A816 towards Oban.
At Cairnbaan (3km) join B841 (W) signposted “Crinan (B8025 Tayvallich)”. At Bellanoch (4km) take B8025 towards Tayvallich. After 1.5km, turn left, to “Achnamara” - continue for 4km. At the Achnamara village sign, leave the road turning left up the track leading to The Stables B&B.
From Campbeltown: A83 (N) towards Glasgow. After Ardrishaig, continue straight on at the Corran roundabout (N) on to the A816, towards Oban. (Follow directions from Cairnbaan.)
From Fort William: Drive (S) to Oban via A82/A828/A85. At Oban take the A816 (S) towards Lochgilphead. After Kilmartin take the B8025 towards Tayvallich. (Follow directions from Bellanoch.)
