Our Home – Your Escape!

You are invited to share with us, the peace and tranquillity that the Argyll countryside has to offer. Relax and unwind here in the heart of Achnamara, in Knapdale Forest, near Lochgilphead...a warm welcome awaits you!

Guest Lounge

The guest lounge features an oakwood floor, wood burning stove (for those cooler evenings), a comfortable sofa and contemporary modern oak furniture. Books are available alongside a selection of Scottish Field and Scottish Islands Explorer magazines. A remote control music system is provided, capable of playing CD's & MP3/iPod (bring your own leads!). In addition, a small selection of board games are also available.

Our Guest Lounge

Guest Bedrooms

The two spacious guest bedrooms occupy a separate self contained area of the house with their own staircase and landing area. The Knapdale Room is named after the local Knapdale Forest area.  The Seafield Room is named because it affords views towards the neighbouring Seafield Farm at the head of Loch Sween.

Knapdale Room

The Knapdale Room is spacious with a double bed and comfortable seating when used as a double room. Up to three low single beds can be utilised when the room is configured as a family room. Re-furnished with oak furniture in 2010, this room offers a flat screen (20”) LCD TV and DVD player. It has its own en-suite shower room and the velux windows look straight into woodland to the rear of the house.

Seafield Room

The Seafield Room is a bright and airy room equipped with a double and a single bed making it ideal for use as a twin or double room. Furnished in contemporary modern country farmhouse style with wicker furniture, this room offers a flat screen (19”) LCD TV and DVD player. It has its own en-suite shower room and the velux windows look straight into woodland to the rear of the house.  Views from the large dormer window over the cobbled courtyard are towards the hills beyond Seafield Farm.

Both bedrooms are lockable from the inside and have:
